My Life With Dogs
My life has been full of dogs, big dogs, little dogs, household companions, and high drive working dogs. From the bold and confident high energy individual to the shy thinker, I learned early to utilize their individual strengths and weaknesses and to create a program that would increase their desire to learn, listen, and willingly respond.
I believe a dog lives their best life when they are happy, confident and their greatest desires are to please and accompany their handler.
I was raised on a ranch on California's Central Coast. We counted on working dogs to gather and move cattle. In our spare time, my family and I enjoyed hunting Upland Game Birds. My mom raised and trained gun dogs and I loved every minute of it and knew at an early age, I wanted to make a career training dogs.
I am a graduate of the Michael Ellis School For Dog Trainers with certifications in: Advanced Obedience, Protection Training, Scent Detection, Canine Management, Behavior Modification, and Puppy Socialization.
